The latest additions to the crew module’s life support systems.
Still working on the ship’s front section, but with more systems in place the simulation is starting to provide a better overview of the involved chemistry:
Not detailed in the video, the different sub-panel sections provide the key figures to keep track of the primary flows in the module for detailed analysis and understanding.
There are still a few key systems to implement, starting with the Waste Management Units.
Safe flights!
Do you have any idea when we might be able to try it?
I wish I had but to be honest I don’t. All I can say is that I’m about to complete the ship’s front section (life support systems), so beginning of next year I will start working on the gamification layer. That’s a major milestone because the project’s end goal is a “spacesim game”, not a pure simulator. However as with all previous features that will be a first for me so I simply don’t have the experience to reliably assess the required coding effort. Since I plan to go on working on the game post its 1.0 release I won’t drag for too long adding overly complex missions and related stuff, but that will assuredly still require quite a lot of work!

It’s up to you if you want to hold off on releasing something until it’s playable as a game, but I think we’d be happy to just take things for a spin and get a feel for the mechanics. Some of us would also be happy to help out with the large amount of testing work that will be necessary
I’d say you’ve just described the testing team! If you’re interested all calls to testers go through the newsletter. I must admit that I’ve been behind schedule on that front too but I’ll try to include more new players next year.
I just came across this amazing game and am floored by the ambition and detail! This really is an sim experience that I want and will gladly pay money for!
I, too, feel impatient to give this a go. I’d really be glad to give back to the team, if testers of any nature are needed. I’ll definitely keep an eye on the newsletter (that I just sub’d to).
From the looks of things this has been in the works for a long time, and I really hope that it’s nearing release and that the dev team are committed to seeing it over the finish line.
Thank you for your encouraging words!
